I went into Jayla's room after quiet time and found her asleep on her bed. Not a good sign. She woke up and moaned, "I don't feel well."
Checked temp: 101.
Checked throat: strange white patches on tonsils....hmmm....what ever could it be????
Call Dr. office: "We will call you back."
2 hrs later: "Can you come in RIGHT NOW?"
Sure I can, no problem, we only live way out in the boonies. I can easily load up the kids and be there in 5 minutes, ahem...make that an hour and 5 minutes.
Strep test: positive
My attitude: negative
Grrrrrr.
Round three of antibiotics begin today.
If it doesn't clear up she will be referred to an ear, nose and throat specialist to see about tonsil removal.
We were going to go to ITZY tonight to celebrate Onyx's birthday since they were all sick on the 12th.
Poor Onyx will have to wait again. He took the news SO well. I am amazed and proud of him. I'm sure by his 6th birthday we'll have this all cleared up.

Oh girl, this has been one LONG winter for you!!! Spring really is on the horizon ... you will get through this cold season soon! Hang in there.
