I woke up and thought I had arthritis.
Turns out it's the flu.
Lovely.
$300 in co-pays and prescriptions later we've discovered:
Onyx: flu
Tyden: flu and strep throat. Isn't he the lucky one?
Stryder did not go to the Dr. because he wasn't running a fever this morning. He now is.
Jayla did not go to school again today because she was had a low fever when she woke up. I thought it was from her strep. Most likely it was from the flu.
Clueless, I dropped J and S off this morning while I took O and T to the Dr. Now, I've exposed their babysitter to it. I am so sorry.
We have 6 scripts for tamiflu. I'm guessing that should help.
Two on antibiotics.
I have this strange lightheaded, dizzy, achy feeling, along with 4 sick kids and a baby to nurse.
Great.
I'm so happy right now.
I actually cried at the "Dr. who hates large families" office. She comforted me. Me, the weeping woman who didn't know when to stop having kids and her fluish-streppy-too-big family.

Tisha I'm so sorry to hear all this. I thought it was bad to hear you had to talk to the mean dr on the phone, but to hear you had to go see her really sucks.
Dr. Lorezal from Dublin Primary Care is wonderful very encouraging and understanding. 592-9890 it is right around the corner from my house so you can drop off healthy kids at my house.
I'm glad you caught all of this so quickly. We will keep you in our prayer for quick recovery.

also, doctor recommendations... dr. kathleen vedock (i may have spelled this wrong) at dublin primary care may be an option for you. i don't know much about her medical skills, but she's one fine swimmer. i swim with her in the mornings and one of these days when i'm tired of driving to monument, i'll switch over. also, same offer applies as kim... since it's right by my house, you can drop the well kids off with me.
I am praying for you! The ped practice at Union and Research is AWESOME! Mountain View Medical 574-9191. This is the same practice as the one in Monument that Sandy goes to, just a little closer!

Oh, girl - that is so sad. The doctor, the flu, a "happy birthday" strep throat - and all after you got plugged back in.
