Bob works his fair share of overtime and call-out emergency response. He never works a 40 hour week, always more, sometimes much, much more.
We're thankful for the overtime as it helps keep our family afloat.
Although, time becomes precious and he spends a lot of it away from home.
Add to that:
Working to instill a sense of charity and giving. Being thankful that we always have enough to eat, nice warm beds, a home to live in....
It's good to give because not everyone has as much as we do and we can bless others.
Equals:
Jayla's prayer this morning: "Lord, I pray that daddy will get called to work more often so we have more money to buy food and clothes to give to the food pantry for the people who don't have enough."
Aw, Jayla, that's so sweet. I'm really proud of you. But. Ahem. Well....Jayla.
Let's not get too crazy now. You can go ahead and "take that back" because mommy needs daddy home to HELP!!!
Let him who stole steal no longer, rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need. Eph. 4:28
