I can see it in his future, that is how this poor child will introduce himself. He must truly think that is his name. It's constant. Constant. Kids want to do computer games? Watch out for Stryder. How about puzzles? He'll be all over your pieces, carrying them away. Maybe some coloring? He eats the crayons and colors all over everything. Set up a "stage" for a puppet show? Think again. That stage will be trampled, blanket curtain ripped down in no time. Let's just sit and read some books. Easier said than done. He is just ALL OVER EVERYTHING! The kids get tired of it, and I don't know where to put him.
I know, you've heard it all before. You may have your "just do this or that suggestions." I welcome you to come do this or that and I will kiss your feet if you can take the wild out of this child. One day, when Stryder is a grown man with a monkey climber of his own, he can look at this and realize, that what goes around often comes around....(No, I'm not wishing that for him, it's simply what might happen, and if it does, I may laugh....just the teeniest bit waaaaay down deep on the inside where no one will see.)
In the meantime, above all, everyone in this house remember, under no conditions whatsoever, shall you ever, ever, ever leave the bathroom door open. The damage that can be done in there is just too gross. You got that?

Sounds like my Henry! We put up our tree tonight and have the gate around it...2 years in a row. Never even had to think about it with Davis!
