Will stop a while for mommy to sweetly hold
With hearts of warriors, here to guard and defend
Superheroes and knights, loyal brothers and friends
Building and climbing, there is work to be done
Dragon slaying and protecting the princess, all part of the fun
With rocks in the bed and pet bugs in a jar
Their journeys take them to places pretend and far
Simple in their desires and easy to please
Life with them occupies a certain ease
So huggable and kissable, telling me “I love you each” day
My heart aches with joy in a beautiful way
