Did I say I was going to be nesting?

What I meant to say when I was talking about preparing for the baby, was I needed to do some resting. Resting, not nesting. I think I've officially passed the nesting window of time and any accompanying bursts of energy, so now I will be spending my time resting while I wait.

Well, resting as much as you can with 4 children ages 6 and under, which come to think of it, isn't that restful. This house is a pretty active place, and there is a fair bit of laundry and meal prep/clean up, plus the bathroom maintenance, the vacuuming, cleaning the wood floors, putting kids in the corner and taking them back out of the corner....Hmmm....not a lot of time to rest. This is a dilemma.

Maybe I should say I will be breathing in anticipation of Clover's arrival. Yes, I will breathe while I wait. I will not nest, and I will not have much chance to rest, but I can say confidently I will breathe. That should be sufficient preparation.

Jayla's newborn clothes are already washed, the carseat carrier has never been stored away due to nearly continuous use, I bought teeny-tiny diapers, the crib is occupied....not much else I can think of besides packing bags for all of us during the hospital/time with nana stay. I suppose we should be pretty good to go. So, I will wait, and I will breathe. I will not nest, and I will not rest, but I will go ahead and make a commitment to breathing....quite loudly like a very pregnant woman, I will breathe. Good enough.
