Me: "I took a personality test today, and guess what? I'm a really brainy-scientist type."
Bob, laughing: "I don't put much stock in those tests. Science isn't really your gig."
Me: Speechless with jaw-dropping amazement. How could he have not recognized these traits I *obviously* posess in our 13 years together?
Later, in the evening:
Bob, in jest to Jayla as we are talking about personality tests (he took one too, just let me say he's not as brainy as I am) during our evening Chutes and Ladders game: "Mommy is a scientist, you know." (((haa haa haa heee heee, slap knee)))
Note from one *mad* scientist: "It's all fun and games until someone around here needs a scientific experiment performed. Then, what will you do? Because, I'm gonna take my beaker and my flask and my bunsen burner and I'm gonna hide them where you'll never find them for making fun of me. Then you'll be in big trouble. You won't be able to test your hypothesis without my help."
Yep, that's right. There is a huge need for scientific experiments around here, and I'm just the person for that job....uh huh. Yes siree.
Here are Bob's results for my blog book:

![]() The Duty Fulfiller You are responsible, reliable, and hardworking - you get the job done. You prefer productive hobbies, like woodworking or knittings. Quiet and serious, you are well prepared for whatever life hands you. Conservative and down-to-earth, you hardly ever do anything crazy. In love, you are loyal and honest. If you commit yourself to someone, then you're fully committed. For you, love is something that happens naturally. And you don't need romantic gestures to feel loved. At work, you remember details well and are happy to take on any responsibility. You would make a great business executive, accountant, or lawyer. How you see yourself: Decisive, stable, and dependable When other people don't get you, they see you as: Boring, conservative, and egotistical |
