Oh Jayla, all day yesterday as I thought about you at school in these pajamas, I smiled. When you are a mother yourself, you will understand the feeling I can not put words to. The feelings that I never could have imagined experiencing. The feelings that well up within me when I think of my little girl, at school in her pink and white, flowered jammies. The feeling of something so simple and so small bringing a kind of joy that the large and lavish could never match. The feeling of your heart walking outside your body, and spending the day away from you in a classroom, in fuzzy pj's. It's inexplicable. It's being your mommy, it's having you for a daughter, and it's the littlest things about you that bring my heart the biggest kind of gladness. I love you dear Jayla.
