Apparently the pediatrician's office is so busy with sick people, they have no time for sick people. Couldn't get in yesterday, so they told us to try the after hours "emergency" clinic. Yes, right fine idea. THEY WERE BOOKED TOO. What?! What is one, insured family supposed to do when there is no Dr. available? Finally, tonight we have an appointment for her at 5:45 pm. It was either that or 7:00 pm. Which actually works out well, because Bob can take her and I don't have to take all 5 and pick up who knows what other kind of virus while taking care of said bacterial infection. The joys of cold/flu/and all other known illnesses season.

Poor girl. I'm sorry you picked up strep from that icky, yucky school. I think we'll just keep you home from now on, with your mommy. Wink, wink.

The good news is, that within a couple doses of antibiotics, she'll be back to normal...trust me, we have done this 2 times in the last month! Until then, even though it is cold, Jayla, you should be asking for ice cream fo breakfast lunch and dinner!
