We took her with us:
We left them home with a babysitter, a teenage girl from church:
Bob leaves for work before I get up (and yes, I do get up at 5:50, he leaves at the crack of early) and every morning I awake to a note on this little notebook. Here was today's message:
Not really a gifty-type person, that was perfect for me.
Besides, I'm still enjoying this card I received on Valentine's Day:
It says "Love can change your life. I know because your love has changed me forever."
Well now, that knowledge is quite a gift. Because, really women, isn't that what we all want? To change our men?
Now, seriously. Bobby, happy anniversary to you. I could write you a syrup-y poem, or profess my love on this blog, telling the world how wonderful you are. Maybe another time I will, but for now, I'm going to keep this one private. Just between you and I, because some things are better that way. Secrets kept between a husband and his wife, that only they would understand anyway.
