We call in the reinforcements.
We are meeting Bob in town tonight for dinner and possibly even a trip to the mall. Because, well, sometimes, every few years or so, I MUST LEAVE THIS HOUSE OR I MIGHT EXPLODE.
A conversation:
My friend who lives in another town outside CS: Would you like to meet in town this Friday somewhere?
Me: Um. No.
Friend: Mmmmmkaaaaay.
Me: Jayla is out of school on Fridays.
Me: That means I would have all 5 kids.
Me: I cannot think of a place we could go that is kid friendly, where I could simultaneously nurse Clover, chase Stryder, take Tyden to the bathroom, forcefeed Onyx his lunch, and still enjoy a stimulating conversation with you.
Me: Maybe we could come to your house instead.
Me: That would be fun.
Her: Nevermind.
So, we will go out with Bob. He will help me. He's very good with the children. He even lets them call him "dad."

Ok, I'm kidding. My friend did not say we couldn't come over, and I did not invite myself to her house...she is coming to our house next week...but she did ask to meet in town...and I did say no, no thank you...that's the true part.
That's too funny ... as I was going to say that I would have invited you over - all 5 kids in tow.
Oh, now that's funny ... b/c I was going to say that I would have invited you over, all 5 kids in tow.
