She only has eyes for me.

Baby girl has begun to cry when people say hello to her. That one loves her momma.
She doesn't even mind that I look like this. I was trying to figure out how I could crop myself out of Clover's First Swimming Picture, without it looking I was trying to crop myself out of Clover's first swimming picture...and I couldn't come up with anything, so here we are, together. My super-smart-for-saying-so husband swears that I don't look as bad in real life as I do in pictures. He tells me I just didn't get the photogenic gene. I say this is my bad side....which happens to be identical to my good side. It's alright. In my old age I try to avoid mirrors as much as possible anyway. And, it's a beautiful picture of Clover. She held onto me for dear life and we swam around. It was like a little slice of heaven on earth. Words can not express how thankful I am to have just one more chance to mother a baby.

I don't see it...the 'bad' part that is!

You ARE beautiful. Please don't say you're not. You are young, healthy and strong and you are you. You're husband loves you alone, you're kids picture your face when they think of someone they love. Super model looks are fictional, you are real and you ARE beautiful! I challenge you to go back through your pictures and look closely at yourself (not your kids) and find some you like (if not love) of yourself and post them, just for the sheer amazing boost that comes from acknowledging that you are truly beautiful. (Sorry if I got preachy, I'm passionate about the whole self image thing)
