How low can you (we) go?

Our furnace has been broken since Sunday. It's getting fixed today. Fortunately, we have had unseasonably warm weather. The coldest our house has reached is 54 degrees during the night. That's 8 degrees lower than our usual-chilly 62 degree set temp. Clover is bundled like a baby puff marshmallow girl. The kids don't seem to mind a bit. They still run around without socks on. Burrrrrrrr. It's got me wondering though, in the name of propane conservation, how low can we go? Hmmm. This little forced experiment may make us drop a degree or two. On Little House on the Prairie, they wear their coats indoors in the winter. They could be onto something. We have a little house on the prairie too.....
Poor little shivery JOTSC.

I'm right there with you baby. We are still in our travel trailer. I too am happy for unseasonably warm weather, yet it still gets down to 0 degrees Celcius or lower some nights. We do have propane to heat our little space, but we are also playing the temperature limbo game! Sweaters and coats and blankets oh my!
Keep warm girl.
