Yes.
Someone said those of us who speak out against abortion should put our money where our mouth is. You're right, we should.
Yes, I will provide a home for children who are in need by way of adoption.
Yes, I will go without luxury items and personal desires to give to those children.
Yes, I will commit my time to intercede in prayer on their behalf each day.
Yes, I will teach our children what it means to give sacrificially to them.
Yes, I will expend energy toward not wasting in order to steward our earth's resources, so that it can accommodate more people.
Yes, I will offer aid to women and children in need, starting with those I know personally.
Yes, I will support organizations that are attending to the necessities of orphans.
Yes, I will expose myself regularly to news around the world to stay aware of current conditions for children in need.
Yes, I will demonstrate for our kids that people are worth fighting for and more important than things.
Yes, our family will stretch outside our comfort zone for the sake of others.
As I protest the loss of innocent lives, I will ask God where exactly He would like me to serve in each stage and season of my life and I will search for opportunities to give and not just talk. Absolutely.
Yes. I agree.
(I really mean we. My husband is the one who makes the money and shares of it freely whenever I have a big idea. He is really something. I am just the one that does nearly all the talking.)
The blessings of this commitment flood our lives with joy and purpose as we are humbled by our generous lot.
