I walked into J's bedroom before quiet time to find this:
Tyden's blanket and slippers laid out on her bed.
This note was on the door. And these toys laid out for him.
She is usually very helpful, and often gets a brother or 2 set up with quiet time activities, but the whole slippers on the bed and note on the door bit was over the top. Impressed, I asked about her sudden burst of extraordinary thoughtfulness. She said since she and Onyx could not agree on a show to watch at 4, they decided Tyden could select one for them. She was pouring it on thick for him with all kinds of syrupy sweetness to encourage him to choose what she wanted to see.
Now, go on ahead and tell me these kids aren't learning some valuable social and manipulation coersion negotiation skills at while spending their days at home!

What a cute Post
Ha! That's hilarious!
I love how you put your staying at home time. I am also home-schooling and have never felt the need to "get out there" with the kids. Sometimes I feel guilty for not doing that, but not any more.
Now I'm curious... what show did Tyden pick? :)
