$9,444.98

Out of sheer curiosity, for the remote possibility of a real vacation, in the distant future, I just searched a 6 night Disneyland package for a family of 7 on the Disney website and this is the dollar figure that shot out for this (obviously, EXCEPTIONAL) experience. Really? Ha! I'm laughing myself far far away from Disneyland. How about a simple playing-in-the-sand-on-the-beach vacation instead? Plastic buckets and shovels probably cost a couple of bucks each these days.
I'm sure there are better deals out there. But still. That's just absolutely positively ridiculous. I'm kind of thinking that much money could be put to *slightly* better use. Ahem.

I've heard people say that Knox Berry Farms is more fun, and much less expensive (I haven't checked into it) But, if you're looking for the amusement park scene....you could check into that! (and by then, won't it be a family of 8? or are you getting a vacation before then?)

even if it were a couple thousand less I don't think I'd be any less taken back -
the only way my kids will ever see the inside of that place is if grandparents pay or they are working there ;-)

that's only in one room......the rest is cold tile for our 100 degree days...
oh, btw, downtown Disney is totally FREE! They have LEGO Land, (every boy's dream) and tons and tons of stuff to do and see!!!! You feel like you really went to the park. Really.:)And Animal Kingdom, you can play there and see animals from the hotel and just tell them you are there for lunch....I've got the free plan, you just need to get here!

We had A LOT more fun in Branson at Silver Dollar City! It is only a 11 hour drive from you, and so much fun. Also educational with the real working homestead! You may even run into the Duggars! :)
