As of Friday our old home phone number will not work.
Magic Jack is ordered. Here are the things I don't know:
1) when it will get here
2) how it works
3) what our new number will be

You and Kent should talk. He's about to take Qwest and throw them out the window! We have had/are having major problems with that company, and they don't really seem to care that we're so very unhappy. Which makes me more unhappy. And just a little angry. I guess I'll have to wait for you to call me, since I don't have your new number, but let me warn you that your call won't go through, becuase that's the problem we're having--you'll just get a fax tone. I guess we'll have to keep in touch through e-mail!
is that a cable phone?
we had vonage for a long time and LOVED it...we just took it away though to only do the cell phone thing, no other reason.
I use Vonage at home.... I have seen the ads for that let us know how it works I always thought the price was to good to be true
Yes, let us know how Magic Jack works for you. And, make sure you email me your new number. Not that I call all that often, but it would be nice to be able to....does not suprise me that you are switching, as it is another way to save money if it really works!! :0)
We have Magic Jack too! Got it before moving over here so we can still receive calls from the US (it's like we have a US number). I have to say the quality ain't great, but you can't beat the price, so if you don't mind feeling a little far away, it's totally worth it.
