Yes, IF this is complete before we travel, it would change one VERY crucial step for us. Masso's visa would not be denied, and we would not have to deal with the many page $550 dollar waiver packet - which (this is the best part!!) would mean our travel will only need to be the 'standard' 6-10 days rather than 14+!! Woohoo!! We have already applied for her visa, so I don't know if it will be processed under the old criteria? Will we need to re-apply? Plus this takes 60 days to go into effect....what does all that mean for us? I'm not sure. We are right on the cusp as far as timing goes. But either way, it is excellent news for HIV+ people everywhere.
