((Hello)) am I speaking English?!

It's what I used to say to the kids sometimes when they weren't responding to me.
Funny thing is.....now, that's the problem ☺

Welcome!

I am Tisha. Wife to one hot guy. Mom to Jayla, Onyx, Tyden, Stryder, Clover, added to the family one by one, conventionally. And don't forget Meadow and Flint, both added through Ethiopian adoption. Yes, it's a handful.... + 2! Blogging to preserve the story of our adventures, to share my heart with my children, to remember the way things once were long after they've passed. Few topics are off limits. Focused on living with authenticity. Trying to grow in graciousness, but it doesn't come easily to me.

Passionate about following wherever God may lead. Even when it took us on a journey toward 2 east African children which are (sometimes painfully) slowly transforming my life, my heart. Learning what love really is. Encountering bumps and bruises along the way. Apologizing regularly. Laughing at myself. Crying too. Blessed beyond my wildest expectation. Reliant upon earplugs to get through the day. Living in the land of many noisy Deutsches.
