I have to be one of the world's worst recipe followers. I don't even use one for making pancakes or waffles or lots of other baked goods. A little of this, a pinch of that, oooooh, this fruit sounds like it would be good in them...I should try adding {fill in the blank} today...sometimes it works to my advantage and the family RAVES! Sometimes not. The concoctions are usually at least edible.
But I would like to share this *recipe* with you for your dining pleasure ☺ I bought these bone in skin on chicken breasts at the store for $0.99/lb. (One of those less expensive cut of meat I mentioned.) This works well with leg quarters also.
Toss them in some oil (olive or veg or canola or whatever kind of oil you like) with some spices -cayenne, paprika, thyme, pepper, salt, onion seasoning, garlic powder (or whatever you like) then bake them at 375 degrees for 45 minutes (or so) or grill them (for as long as it takes to cook them through) and wala! A simple, delicious, cost effective, family friendly meal that will be lip smakin good for all the little fingers at your house. The meat is moist and if the small people don't care for spicy food, they can peel the skin right off. Serve with couscous or rice (or whatever you like) and add a vegetable (or don't). Dinner is served. Bon appetit!

Mmmmm, Alicia. I like it. I'll make it for you in July :) Hahahaha.
sounds so simple...yet so yummy! adding it to our menu for next week - thanks!
That looks soooo good! I'm gonna try that soon!!
Do you think it would work with boneless chicken?? Chad's not a big "bone" fan...
Yes Alyssa! Give it a go with boneless chicken. Every *recipe* has room for modification and personalization :) Maybe it won't take as long to cook though?
