The morning routine. Hmmm. Jayla began school Aug. 13, and I have yet to figure out how to get this time to run consistently smoothly. Some mornings there is dancing and praising God to worship music in the living room with happy, ready-to-go-early chilren.
Other mornings are full of grumpiness, crying and a certain high-pitched squeal tone for each complaint...
One thing that is consistent: Morning hair.





I've resorted to the worst kind of cleaning chores as consequence for any culprit of endless morning whining/crying/complaining. You know, scrubbing tile grout with a toothbrush etc. We'll see if that helps. If you come to our house and observe our squeaky-clean grout, you'll know it isn't working.....but the children are.
