What is one supposed to put on their first blog post?? Welcome! There's a start.
As a person who loves reading other people's blogs, I hope this is enjoyable for someone!
My purpose for this blog is two fold: #1 To give family and friends a way to keep in touch with the happenings around the Deutsch household. #2 To give myself a record, a journal of sorts to document some of our daily lives.
I am not one who deals gracefully with the passage of time, especially with regard to my babies growing up. I know, I should accept change, be thankful for the time I have and act like a mature adult about the years of my life accumulating. Maybe the person I just described will someday be me, but not currently. The person I am now weeps at night as my children grow and I realize I cannot remember precisely the way they used to be. This will serve as my reminder of the days and times. I can look back and relish in the fond, and the not-so-fond memories....sit with my cup of tea and look at my blog archives....recalling my children as they were and remembering the days when....
