Thankful turkeys

The craft, not the kids.

Each feather on the turkey represents something we are thankful for. (You can just see Jayla bubbling over with thanksgiving in this picture. She was upset it was time to wrap it up for bedtime....she could have colored that turkey for another 3 hours.)

Jayla's feathers: our house, grandpas and grandmas, our family, our car, being alive, enough of everything, family days, and water.

Onyx's list: our house isn't burned down, food to eat, crafts to do, God cares for us, we don't live on the street, what we have, our house, no one sneaks in our house, we're safe.

Tyden: I love you, we love eachother, daddy loves mom, not scared at night, chocolate milk, everyone is happy, you love me, no monsters, monsters aren't coming.

*completely unedited, in exactly their own words.
