He will seem to snap out of it for a while, briefly, just long enough to give us a glimmer of hope...you know, the "he's turned a corner" kind of hope.
THEN he returns. The mischievous Stryder we've grown accustomed to and we realize he is still on the same wild and reckless, 'isn't it almost Stryder's bedtime?' path, no corner turning involved.
What he has started to do is put himself in the corner when he has been corrected. He marches himself right over to the corner without even being asked.
Now, that counts for something, doesn't it?

When Henry is throwing a fit, I tell him go to your room if you are crying and he toddles off and comes out when he has quit. I laugh evrey time. I guess every family needs a little mischeviousness to keep things interesting!!!!
