100th day of school project.

For their 100th day of school, the kids were asked to bring in 100 of something. Jayla made this:

100 flowers with little wooden-stick stems.
It's a good thing her dad was free to help her the past couple of evenings. Between cooking dinner, dinner clean up, bedtime routine and baby-care I am pretty busy between 4:00-8:00 pm. If it were up to me, she would have taken 100 little pieces of macaroni in a baggie. I did go to Wal-Mart with the kids for the supplies. That was helpful.

Could this possibly only be the 100th day of school? Because, really, I'm sure I've gotten the kids up and out the door at 7:15am at least 197 times by now. Their count must be off...by 97 days or so.
