Now he really is 5.

Onyx's birthday has now been officially celebrated at IT'Z, and it was well before his 6th birthday. Yahoo! For now, we've given up on real, invite your friends over and receive 100 new, unnecessary toys that will soon be broken and scattered about the house driving your ever-so-patient mom to complete and utter madness. Instead, we are taking the kids to a fun, out of the ordinary kind of place to celebrate, just our family....which is party-sized of itself. One rather significant benefit to our new birthday arrangement is whenever they ask, "can we go to Chuck E. Cheese's, Pump It Up, Build A Bear, IT'Z....etc." we can just say, "sure, for your birthday we'll go wherever you want." and we never feel the need to entertain that kind of *family fun* on some random Saturday. One of our smartest ideas ever.
The kids had a great time and we only lost Stryder once when he exited the arcade to enter the dining area and help out the employees by making sure every single high chair that was lined up against the wall had its buckles fastened. He always has been the helpful sort.





Happy Birthday again Onyx. So glad we finally did something special to celebrate a super cool kid like you! Thank you for being so patient. I love you bunches.
