Now if I could just get everyone else on board with the Better Behavior and Attitude Plan, we'd be good to go. Are these little yahoos doing better lately? No, not so much.

Talkin about My Girl.
I don't know if it was the rigorous schedule, her not feeling well because of super-sized tonsils, or that *evil* (I'm kidding, just kidding, really, sort-of joking) public school, but last year J's attitude was really something to contend with...all year long. I see huge changes in her this summer. It's very nice. I feel like I've got my girl back in all her sweetness. She is much better with her brothers, more helpful, (in fact, I've been a busy bee this summer making them all my little slaves with our chore list, they are doing a GREAT job...they are being compensated for their efforts, so I guess technically it's not slave labor) and just generally more enjoyable to be around. Again I find myself thankful for home school, which we have been doing all summer long. It feels just right for us at this time. I believe it is good for each of the children, as well as our family unit as a whole.
Now if I could just get everyone else on board with the Better Behavior and Attitude Plan, we'd be good to go. Are these little yahoos doing better lately? No, not so much.

They're not little slaves... they're minions! You compensate yours? Now I feel cheap. ;)
i JUST posted the same thoughts about my oldest...she's become a different person this summer! in all good ways! it really is making me dread school starting in a whole new way. i'm watching your homeschooling VERY closely...
K, I need to know more about this better behavior and attitude plan you've got going on. Do you have a step by step? I need one adapted for an 18 month old!!!!!!! Yipe! I know crazy huh. I think I know what you are going to say... "consistency, consistency, consistency"
