I think I love you.
Stryder's 4th birthday is Sunday. (Evil aging traitor child, but whatever.)
Last week while visiting with a friend:
Her: "Did you know McDonalds does birthday parties?"
Me: "Oh, really?" [not caring too much because of my sneaking suspicion that McDonalds feeds people horseburgers. Black Beauty does not belong with special sauce, lettuce, cheese on a sesame seed bun. But trying to act politely interested.] "Hmmm. Golly. That's very interesting."
Her: "They include happymeals for up to 10 children, the goodie bag, and THE CAKE all for 70 something $$."
Me: [Suddenly recalling my deep, abiding affection for horseburgers with special sauce, lettuce, and cheese on a sesame seed bun.] "Seriously?! Tell me more."
The Kids: [Shouting in unison while jumping up and down wildy waving their arms all about] "We LOVE McDonalds! Yay! Yipee Skippy!"
Stryder: "Can I go dere for my burfday?"
Cut to this morning.
I called the house of Rondald to hear his side of the story and check the facts. Oh yes I did. It gets even better. I tried to choose the most ghetto fabulous McD's in an effort to avoid yuppyland and their price was only $63! INCLUDING the CAKE! No fuss, no muss, no mess. We don't really do bd "parties" so it will just be our family - which is really a decent sized party afterall now isn't it?
Stryder will be so, so happy.

You crack me up. Sounds like Stryder will have a whopping good time. Oh, wrong fast food chain. :)
And as a BONUS, you get to have your Mother's Day at McDonald's too! I know that's just what you always wanted! You should splurge and order a milkshake with that horseburger.
