I recall the two of us playing "Little House" when we were younger. Remember playing in the wood pile, and going to school under the willow tree in your backyard neighbor's yard? We even had our cans with our lunch in them, and wore our dresses and bonnets. We even had night caps for our heads when we went to bed! We had quite the imaginations! And some great moms that could sew handy dandy things for us!
Yep, I agree with you Jodie, a bonnet revolution is in order. That's why I'm wearing mine to Old Chicago on Monday night with the ladies. I think your friends will love it!!
Anastasia, I bet she did have legs like those (only much longer probably) they were just hiding underneath that pesky skirt. We just watched the one where she got a big huge infection on her leg and almost had to cut it off with a kitchen knife! Eh, scary! They actually showed a lot of her gams in that one. Shocking.
Steph, I remember that too. We were so cool. And, obviously, I still am. I mean, just look at me in my bonnet. Um, coolness personafied. To like the millionth degree.
my great aunt Nora used to make bonnets. She would sew pieces of cracker boxes to make the bill stiff. My sisters both had one but I was never blessed with one. I think you gorgeous in yours!

Adorable!!! Love it!
Hey, Ma! Must I clean out the chamber pot again?
I don't think Ma Ingals ever had legs like those!
