Finally old enough to date, Round 2.

The time has come. Nearly 7 years after having our first child, Bob and I have realized, we need to schedule some time together, regularly, without children.
We need to date.
Not just the 'catch one when you can' kind of dating, but the 'we will get a sitter and go on a date no matter what' kind of dating.
The 'we are making our marriage a high priority' kind of dating.
The 'it's in everyone's best interest for us to have a good, strong, healthy relationship, so we should invest some time' kind of dating.
No, I don't mean 'love on the rocks' dating. No worries. Just coming to the conclusion that our lives will be generally more enjoyable if we step out of them for a while, routinely, to be Bob and Tisha, not just Dad and Mom.
His folks are graciously coming over Friday night for our first official get away.
It will be fantastic to have something to look forward to every other week.
I need to have something like this to look forward to every other week.
It will help us be better parents, a better couple, and better people.
Don't know why it took me so long to realize this.
You've probably been doing it all along.
And yes, with regard to yesterday's post. It will be extremely budget friendly. Even Taco Bell can be romantic when we're alone, sans our usual pint-sized entourage.
