O Give Thanks

Thanksgiving came and went down as one of our most fun to date. We had 28 people, tons of really delicious food, tryptophan galore, extra scrumptious cinnamon honey butter Laura mentioned on facebook that I had to copy, new friends who brought homemade German noodles and Dutch apple pie (!), extended family, lots of kids, games for everyone and it was a nice and relaxing day. One of the best treats was that Big Grandma and Grandpa could make it out to our house for the first time in at least two years. That in and of itself was enough to make it pretty special. I was not disciplined with the camera like I wish I had been. I was busy, people, busy! No family pictures, and none of where everyone sat to eat, etc. But we do have a few random shots ~ they will have to suffice.

Certainly, thanksgiving was in order.
